So i went to the bars late last night and bumped into a dear old friend. I was definitely not expecting to see her. Come one now, it's Santa Cruz, who comes here? It was quite random, but sweet. I really cherish the types of friendships where you can pick up where you left off, even though its been years since you last met. She's present in a lot of my childhood memories. I know it was my fault that our friendship grew apart, so apart that we would only talk twice a year- once when i called her on her birthday, and once on my birthday.

On a brighter note, I'm a huge fanatic when it comes to Korean and Japanese Dramas. I've been watching Korean Dramas since I was born. My mom used to rent video tapes from the local Korean market and I would have piles of video tapes next to my tv. Yes call me a fob if you want. There's been a huge craze in Korea for Boys over Flowers (Hana Yori Dango), and I watch both the Korean one and the Japanese Version. I must say that I enjoyed the Japanese one a lot more.

This is the Korean cast. (the boys look like girls too.)

this is a song by Utada Hikaru in Hana Yori Dango

I've always been fascinated at how naturally pretty some people are. Yeah i know Korea is one of this biggest plastic surgery industries, but there are still some that are just gorgeous. take for instance Song Hye Gyo. flawless i must say.

love.

sweet song. and sweet video. i want to play this song at my wedding :)

falling in love is such a sweet feeling. i must admit, i have a hard time opening up to people. not only to guys, but to girls too. i have a fear of rejection and i tend to keep my feelings and emotions all bottled up inside me. I only let my true colors show to those that i can truly trust, which only pertain to a select few people. this is probably why i find myself resisting on making posts about my personal life. yes indeed.

two new movies I really can't wait to watch is Wolverine and Up.

Come on now, who wouldn't want to watch this hot beast? TRUE STORY!

I'd also like to share one of my most favorite websites.:

http://fuckyeahpuppies.tumblr.com/ <~ cutest freakin puppies ever. When I get older, I'm going to have a house full of pugs. Yes pugs! they're so ugly, that they're so freakin adorable. :)

music.

yes i am a fan of big bang. woot.

What would i do without music? hmmmmm. music soothes the soul. it makes me happy, it excites me, makes me want to dance, makes me reminisce, sometimes makes me sad. it conjures up such opposing emotions yet keeps me going. What type of music does joann like? I would say everything except country. yes sorry I don't mean to offend anyone who's in love with country music, but it just doesn't float my boat.

song for the day:

i heart kids

no i am not a pedophile....or am i?
I've always liked working with kids man. they're just too cute for words. I miss working with my 3rd grade class. On the last day that I taught, we had green eggs and ham, and watched dr. seuss videos. All the kids surprised me with the cutest thank you cards.

Many of the students drew me a pot of gold, in the St. Patricks Day them. CUTEE!

I swear, Japanese people come up with the weirdest things. So every time I go to Daiso with Melissa, we cause chaos rummaging through everything. From the cute pot holders, to the unnecessary cup thingys that go into lunch boxes, to contraptions that are aimed at keeping cats away with a sign that says "Cat Don't!!!", to masks that allow a lucky boy to look like a girl

Yes. It says "You can be a Drag Queen"

It offers such elegant features. All it is, is a plastic mask with feminine features thats attached to strings so you can wear it on your face. Fantastic. 5 stars for that invention!

I will end with a picture of my puppy MOCHI. He thinks he's hella cute and sleeps on the stairs. weirdo.

Whenever he behaves badly my dad screams out "get the water ready" to make some boshin tang. YUMMMS. jay kay man

Spring Break

So i realized why i don't post at all on blogspot. it sucks man! i hate having to go on each person's page to look at what they wrote. yeah part of their post shows up on my thing when i log in, but its such a hassle. livejournal was the crackin place to be. its funny when i go back to my lj and see how young and weird i was. (or still am?). I'm back in fremont for spring break. its been really nice to spend time with my pemily. OMGGGGG. so yesterday I watched the World Baseball game, Corea vs. Japan. (thats right, its with a C, not a K dumb bastards). it was an intense game. Yes I do not like baseball, but I get super excited when I watch Korea play in sports against other countries. Esp. against japan.

So i went clubbing on friday, and my what an adventure it was. First we went to Temple, but ended up leaving because we found out it was drum and bass night. uhhh yeah there were old ass people up in there. then we went to Mission Rock. How did we find out about it?? ask Mumu. she can tell you. So we got there.... little did we know it was Dominatrix/lesbian night. sheesh. it couldn't get any ghettoer. hak gwais errrrwhere. So we were kinda bummed that we had to pay to get in. So we bought drinks, and got cotton candy, AND popcorn. my did we get our moneys worth. It was one hell of a night. with khanh losing her phone, to stuffing our faces with cotton candy, swinging the cotton candy stick everywhere, getting whipped by some black girl. yes exciting indeed. Here's a picture of the beautiful lady who only had an apron on. yes shes luxurious.
Life has been good. Richard came over the other day to play video games. He was telling me how I looked fatter, and I yelled at him. My mom was like "why are you getting mad at him? he's not your boyfriend anymore". which is true, but i probably would have said that if any other friend said that. :)

I'm glad to say that I have changed a lot within the passed year. I couldn't have overcame a lot of things if it wasn't for my BFF Mumu. She's been there for me even when all i could do was talk about my insignificant problems. I saw her today, and its funny how we call each other out on everything. dude and she's a working woman man. :D love you beez.

i heart music

so i was browsing on youtube and stumbled upon a brilliant group called Far East Movement (FM). yeah their music consists of provocative lyrics and crackin beats that appeal to the American audience. They also perform in asia which is super cool.

I first heard their music at a forever 21. lol it was so catchy i tried to remember the lyrics and found them online. i must say they're pretty cute. They have 4 members. 3 emcees and 1 dj. They've been out for a few years and they even did a collab with Ken Oak Band (I loves Ken Oak). yeahhhh. I got to meet Ken Oak Band a few years ago in LA and even took a picture with them. man a guy who can sing and play the freakin Cello to me is number 1 on my list. :)
i'm on a freakin downloading spree. woot woot. oh and i'm also hooked on Jamie Foxx- Blame it
